Picture of five unidentified people standing in front of a plane at what has become the Smokejumper Base. The plane is an Army Aircorp fighter. Built in 1930-31 is was called a Curtis FHC-5 Hawk. Note the gunsight up by the cockpit. This plane was obsolete by the time WWII came around. |
